Sculpture “Quiet Form IV”, ceramic, 25 cm — Yaroslav Paraponiak

“Quiet Form” is a series of ceramic sculptures about the tension between structure and erosion: a fragmented female torso with a raw, textured surface that keeps the marks of the clay and of the making.

The surface is cracked, uneven and deliberately unresolved, stressing the physicality of clay and the passing of time. The form is both stable and disrupted, balancing weight and absence.

Size: 11 × 11 × 25 cm (w × d × h). Hand-modelled ceramic. An original — there is only one.

Yaroslav Paraponiak is a contemporary Ukrainian sculptor and painter from Lviv with a Master's degree from the Ceramics Department of the Lviv National Academy of Arts. He explores the fragility of beauty, the traces of time and the tension between surface and inner substance; the human torso is his recurring image.
