Sculpture “Quiet Form III”, ceramic, 33 cm — Yaroslav Paraponiak

“Quiet Form” is a series of ceramic sculptures about the tension between structure and erosion: a fragmented female torso with a raw, textured surface that keeps the marks of the clay and of the making.

A balanced, grounded take on the torso on a dark base. The texture is exposed but not broken: the work exists in a state of calm stability and restrained physical presence.

Size: 13 × 13 × 33 cm (w × d × h). Hand-modelled ceramic. An original — there is only one.

Yaroslav Paraponiak is a contemporary Ukrainian sculptor and painter from Lviv with a Master's degree from the Ceramics Department of the Lviv National Academy of Arts. He explores the fragility of beauty, the traces of time and the tension between surface and inner substance; the human torso is his recurring image.
