Sculpture “Quiet Form II”, ceramic, 33 cm — Yaroslav Paraponiak

“Quiet Form” is a series of ceramic sculptures about the tension between structure and erosion: a fragmented female torso with a raw, textured surface that keeps the marks of the clay and of the making.

A calmer, more contained torso: softer transitions ease the tension while keeping the raw presence of the material. The surface is subtly uneven and marked by the process — a sculpture about stillness, weight and balance.

Size: 13 × 13 × 33 cm (w × d × h). Hand-modelled ceramic. An original — there is only one.

Yaroslav Paraponiak is a contemporary Ukrainian sculptor and painter from Lviv with a Master's degree from the Ceramics Department of the Lviv National Academy of Arts. He explores the fragility of beauty, the traces of time and the tension between surface and inner substance; the human torso is his recurring image.
