Sculpture “Quiet Form I”, ceramic, 26 cm — Yaroslav Paraponiak

“Quiet Form” is a series of ceramic sculptures about the tension between structure and erosion: a fragmented female torso with a raw, textured surface that keeps the marks of the clay and of the making.

The most open form in the series: the exposed interior sets up a dialogue between mass and void and shifts the focus from the outer silhouette to the inner space. The work is both fragile and weighty — it asks to be looked at up close.

Size: 11 × 11 × 26 cm (w × d × h). Hand-modelled ceramic. An original — there is only one.

Yaroslav Paraponiak is a contemporary Ukrainian sculptor and painter from Lviv with a Master's degree from the Ceramics Department of the Lviv National Academy of Arts. He explores the fragility of beauty, the traces of time and the tension between surface and inner substance; the human torso is his recurring image.
